This site was launched on the web on October 22, 1998. Me being a bassgear head myself, I wanted to create a dedicated place for Bass players to buy and sell bass gear.
As I continue getting suggestions, and thinking of new ideas, I'll keep improving this site to make it user friendly, and a cool place to surf.

12/05/98-Added New Search by "Item Name" feature.
12/20/98-Added Category "Double Basses"
02/06/00-Set default category check boxes to choose all categories. (Thanks Tim Starter!)
1/03/03-Added famous bassist Birthday program.
1/10/03-Added Forking to picture option, & added a page to confirm ad posting.
2/02/03-Banner Ads were added. Thanks AccessBass for being the first to support BassGear.com
